As the client grew and expanded, it became evident that its in-house-developed underwriting system lacked consistency and flexibility to handle the complex business logics when administering policies and process billing transactions. Additionally, the lack of an Internet-based agent transaction system was becoming a bottleneck in the company’s growth.

Solution:

AppGuru conducted business process interviews with management and key personnel to understand requirements. Based on collaboration with the client, AppGuru developed a 3-tiered solution to help the client automate and go paperless:

• Create an online agent portal where agents could perform policy searches, post payments, upload new policies and request policy endorsements
• Create an integrated new agent system with Competitive Rater, this allows client agents to upload a new policy directly to Geneva underwritting system.
• Developed an integrated underwriting system
• TGS maintains and hosts client’s all core business applications
• Maintain and enhance these systems as business needs change
• Provide 7X24 user support
• Provide overnight order entry from paper
